agencies?
Is it totally unheard of for an agency(Either escort or talent) to represent trans individuals? Because it seems that I cannot find one. Furthermore the few ads I see from so-called agencies looking for trans folk aren't really legit.

I'm just asking because I really do not have the know how to pursue my aspirations independently at this point.

Here are my suggestions, based on experience:

1) Put an ad on Eros-guide or similar website. Monthly ads are about $150, visiting I think is $100. These are very minor operating costs considering what you will make. These sites are for more serious clinets who know what they want and are willing to pay for it. It is not usual to charge 300- 400 an hour. Craigslist may be free, but its a minefield right now and you will be wading between riff-raff and Vice squads. Because CL is a website used by everyone for everything, your gonna draw in alot of random people. Seriously, its got more flakes than a box of Wheaties.

2) Get professional pictures. This helps alot. It should be easy to find a photographer to do TFP work.

3)If you are really serious about making big bucks, i would recommend making a website. You can link to it in your ads and get the guys away from the competition. Also, you can have as many pics as you want and other info. Good Girl Media based in San Diego sells some nice pre-fab ones.

Good luck and be safe!!

thanks for the advice. I wholeheartedly understand what you say about craigslist. I've been utilizing it for contacts and info and what not and more often than not come up with nothing but flakes.

I agree CL is not the best place. eros is good, there are a bunch of specialized regional sites too like redbook, etc. Googlie Googlie for the ones in your area.

I have a trans worker friend or two that have an agency, but it's a we come to you type agency, definitely high-class. I'm sure there are others out there, but maybe not in your area.
